  Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,SAN, on Saturday, bagged the ‘Governor of the Year’ Award.   The Award, courtesy of Vanguard Newspaper, was handed to Governor Akeredolu at Vanguard Personality Award 2021, held at the Convention Centre, Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.  Governor Akeredolu was accompanied by his wife, Arabinrin Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu and the deputy Governor, Hon.   A pastor at Winners Chapel has cried out after he was sacked for not generating enough money in his branch. According to the pastor, mr Peter Godwin, he was invited by the state pastor and getting there he met other pastors about 40 and they were all sacked over low income in their branches.

  Deji Adeyanju, popular Nigerian activist has joined those questioning the source of Obi Cubana’s wealth. Adeyanju on his Twitter page called for caution as he opined that rich men don’t throw money the way it ‘rained’ at the burial ceremony at Oba, Anambra state. Making reference to Hushpuppi who showcased his lifestyle on social media before he was arrested in Dubai, Adeyanju warned Cubana and others spraying bundles of Naira note to be careful of attracting the FBI and EFCC. On his Twitter page, the activist wrote:  “This was how some of us kept asking what Hushpuppi was doing that he was throwing money up and down but we were called names and insulted.      Pretty Mike has claimed that businessman, Obi Iyiegbu, aka Obi Cubana, told him that his mother's burial will make people wish to die. The socialite, who was in Oba for the burial of Obi Cubana's mother, claimed he had the conversation with the businessman during the burial of his wife's father.  Pretty Mike wrote: "I remember when Obi's wife father died some months back. We came for the burial. It was nothing short of a carnival. "I asked him so why wait till July to bury your mum.
